Currently we are searching for a Payroll supervisor for Durban, South Africa.

Responsibilities of this Post:

• Ensure New Employee details as received from HR are completed correctly and that no documents are outstanding before capturing information on the payroll system.
• Ensure accurate processing of Bonus and Leave payments.
• Update Payroll System with New Employee information as received by HR and ensure that the employee’s package breakdown is captured correctly in the payroll system.
• Submit correct documentation to Schemes (Medical Aid, MIBFA, etc.) in respect of employees’ status (new engagements, terminations, changes in beneficiaries, etc.).
• Accurate capturing of all Wages Inputs on to payroll and T/A System, which includes annual leave, sick pay , family responsibility leave , etc.
• Interpretation and application of Main Agreement.
• Scrutinise wage inputs to ensure correct documentation is received in terms of all leave applications, changes to rates of pay , etc.
• Administers all deductions accurately as received.
• Ensure Payroll Department is fully equipped with all stationery requirements.
• Provide advice to employees in respect of all benefits which includes Company Policies, etc.

Requirements of this Post:

• Matric, Payroll Administration Certificate advantageous.
• Four years experience as Payroll supervisor.
• Computer literate (Excel and Word).
• Ability to perform tasks meticulously, with a fine attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
