CPUT Bellville Campus has released the enrollment plan and registration dates for online registrations for the 2024–25 academic year. and also how to register. We have published all the information below.
The ability to register for the 2024 intake would not be possible before May 15, 2024. Refer to the 2024 registration booklet below. Also, refer to the term dates and the information below.
CPUT Bellville Campus Registration Dates: 2025
CPUT Bellville Campus First Year Undergraduate Intake Students:
- Off-campus and online registration: Monday, 29 January 2024 – Friday, 9 February 2024
Students who wrote their Final Grade 12 Exams in 2022 (or earlier) and have final acceptance can register from Monday, January 29, 2024
- Applicants who wrote their final Grade 12 exams in 2023 and are pending final evaluation:
The final evaluation (screening) of the 2023 NSC results will be conducted from Monday, January 22, 2024, until Friday, January 26, 2024 (subject to change).
Any NSC results obtained will be verified against the official results as published by the Department of Basic Education and Training.
Acceptance will be confirmed via an automated SMS to your cell phone number provided during your application to the university.

- Please be reminded to register within 48 hours of receiving the automated SMS. If not, your space may be allotted to the next deserving student. Please be reminded that you can only commence with registrations from January 29, 2024, and onwards.
CPUT Bellville Campus Returning Students (Returning Undergraduate Studies, including Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma Programs)

- Online and off-campus academic registrations with online assistance: Monday, 15 January 2024 – Friday, 2 February 2024
Specifications for your computer: Internet Explorer 7 or higher, with Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 or higher. No other browsers are certified for online registrations at CPUT.

How much is the CPUT Bellville Campus Registration Fee?

National student registration fee: R2 200.00
International Students registration fee: Total annual tuition fees (100%)
National Residence student registration fee: R2 200.00
International Residence registration fee: Total annual fees (100%)
How to Pay the CPUT Bellville Campus Registration Fee
Payments can be made at any branch of ABSA Bank or via Internet banking. For further details, please consult the 2024 registration booklet.
International registration clearance is compulsory for the following students (excluding South African citizens and/or Permanent Residency students):
- Refugee Permit holders
- Asylum Seeker permit holders
- Non-SA citizen Passport holders with a study visa (i.e. no SA ID number)

CPUT Bellville Campus Online Registration Process
Note this: registration is strictly online.
Below are guidelines on how to begin your registration at the CPUT Bellville Campus.
Step 1.
Check if your institution has the I-enabler (If ‘yes’, Click on the i-enabler link to begin your registration; if ‘no’, start from step 2)
Step 2.
Go to the CPUT Bellville Campus Registration Portal Via the link below
Step 3.
Insert your student number and 5-digit pin
Step 4.
Click on Login
Step 5.
Navigate to Academic Registration
Step 6.
Click on Academic Admission Status and ensure that you have an admitted admission status
for the qualification you are registering for. Check also your application decision
Step 7.
Click on Registration Restrictions.
- Ensure you do not have any restrictions, such as financial, academic, or international.
- If you do have a restriction, your registration will not go through.
Step 8.
Click on the Rules and Regulations. Your document will be downloaded. Kindly read carefully and
click accept. Once you have accepted the rules and regulations agreement, follow the instructions afterwards.
Step 9. (Final Step)
View, print, or save your proof of registration.

Note: Students will only be allowed to come to the offices if they have serious registration issues. They will then need to complete a COVID-19 health check on the COVID-19 health check app before visiting the offices.
Returning students will be required to use the booking app to book an appointment before visiting a CPUT Bellville Campus office.
