Susan threatens Sami with a scalpel, angry that Sami didn’t tell her EJ was alive. Stefan meets his bandaged half-brother EJ for the first time. Abe learns from Belle that John married Hattie Adams, not Marlena.

Abe, Belle, Sami, Will, Paul and Susan band together to surprise John and Marlena with an impromptu wedding ceremony. Gabi’s alarmed that Kate won’t be able to pull off arranging another “Gabby” attack after she learns Chad is headed over the DiMera Mansion to abduct Abigail.

As Hope and Rafe meet with a witness who could make their case against Ben, Claire continues to encourage Ben to get closer to Ciara to win her away from Tripp. Both Stefan and Kate regain consciousness at the mansion, then realize that Chad kidnapped Abigail.

Kate meets with Gabi, who is freaked out that her plan went so wrong. Chad locks Abigail in the Horton Cabin and vows to keep her there to get the treatment she needs.

Abigail goes into labor, and despite her anger towards Chad, they work together to deliver the baby. Stefan catches Gabi with the “Gabby” wig and pills. He forces her to admit she has been setting up Abigail.

Jennifer learns Chad may have kidnapped Abigail and tells JJ. They check in with Hope and Rafe, who is also stunned to learn Abigail has accused Gabi of gaslighting her. Earlier, Hope and Rafe question Tripp about buying the accelerant. Claire helps him cover.

Paul and Will move into their new apartment and find that the furniture they ordered hasn’t arrived. Paul calls in a favor. Later, Will runs into Sonny and the star-crossed lovers renew their pact to stay apart… as Paul finds Will’s journal.

Claire pays Wyatt to take the fall for planting the evidence to frame Ben, but Ciara almost overhears that it was Tripp who did it. Wyatt is able to convince Hope and Rafe that he is guilty and then they tell Ben about it. Chad cares for Abigail and her baby, but then is unnerved by a nightmare.

While Abigail happily gets to know her just born daughter, Chad makes a mysterious call to Stefan. Paul is tempted to read Will’s journal, but stops short when Brady arrives. Brady makes a confession to Paul. Will opens up to Gabi about his decision to stay with Paul after the accident even though he loves Sonny.

Eric shows up to visit Holly, but finds Rex there trying to make amends with Sarah over their broken engagement. Eric and Sarah grow closer. Hope visits Jennifer, assuring her they are doing everything they can to find where Chad has taken Abigail. Hope asks about Jennifer’s relationship with Eric.

Paul, off his conversation with Brady, confronts Will about his love for Sonny. Meanwhile, Sonny is missing Will, and he confides in Adrienne that he and Will made a pact to stay apart. Rex and Lucas commiserate over what they’ve been through. Rex, still reeling over losing Sarah, goes to Kate for help.

Roman defends Rex. Later, Rex shows up, and he tells her goodbye. At Doug’s place, Brady reveals to Chloe he just blew up Paul’s world, but Chloe points out that at least he was honest. Later, Chloe encourages sad Brady to call Eve. Lucas returns and catches Chloe and Brady in an embrace.

Gabi wants to celebrate the success of her plan with Kate, but Kate’s upset she’s gloating over Abigail’s being committed/separated from her baby. Later, Chad knocks. Chad encounters Ben, who asks about Abigail. Meanwhile, Abigail accuses JJ of helping Chad put her away. L

Stefan is angry at Jennifer for coming into his daughter’s room when he prohibited visitors. Kayla has to separate them. JJ tells Kayla about Abigail’s theory about Gabi. Wyatt wants to give Claire her money back because he’s scared of Ben, who sees them together.

Gabi confesses to Abigail that she’s been gaslighting her. Abigail lunges at Gabi just as Chad comes in. Earlier, Jennifer rakes Chad over the coals for kidnapping Abigail and handing over the baby to Stefan. Ben tells Ciara that Tripp, not Wyatt, framed him. Later, Ciara confronts Tripp.

Meanwhile, Claire freaks out when she realizes Wyatt returned the money. Abe is fuming when Sheila fails to show up for her first day of work. Lani goes looking for Sheila and Eli and finds them in a compromising-looking position.

Ben confronts Claire about knowing Tripp set him up and then covering for him. Paul informs Brady that Will moved out – and that he’s leaving Salem. Paul has an emotional goodbye with his father. Will tells Marlena how he tried to find Sonny to tell him about Paul, but he left town and is unreachable.

Valerie informs Abe she got a job offer as Chief of Staff at her old hospital in D.C. Abe objects to the idea of a long-distance relationship.

It’s Thanksgiving in Salem. Will shows up at the Kiriakis house having been invited by Adrienne, but Victor refuses to let him stay. Victor is also rude when Sarah shows up with Eric. Julie and Doug host Thanksgiving dinner at Doug’s Place. Eli invited Sheila as a guest.

Ben makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with Claire or their alliance to get Ciara and Tripp. Tripp breaks up the conversation. Earlier, Tripp is removing some things from Ciara’s room when she comes in. He tells her that he’s moving out, but Ciara says he doesn’t have to.

Hope and Rafe learn that Ciara lied about spending Thanksgiving with her grandparents. Hope goes to investigate, and once they’re alone, Julie takes Rafe to task. Later, when Hope returns, someone grabs her! Eric and Sarah discuss Holly’s long-term care. Will and Sonny reunite!

Leo, alive and well, gives very few details to Will and Sonny about where he’s been all this time. Leo insists that he’s come back to hold Sonny to his word. Kayla lays into Stefan for how he forced her to spy on Kate and accuses him of letting Steve take the fall for Stefan’s espionage.

As Kate and Roman talk about their plot to bring down Stefan, Ted, back in town, reveals to Hope that Stefan and Kate had him kidnapped. He asks for protections. Ben gently presses a wounded Ciara to admit her feelings for him.

Leo tries to blackmail Sonny into marrying him. Later, Will promises nothing will keep him and Sonny apart. Ted tries to prevail upon Hope to hide him from Stefan and offers to help her bring down Ben in return.
Rafe tells Hope he caught Ciara with Ben.

Stefan bonds with Charlotte. He allows JJ to see the baby. Meanwhile, Kayla grills Gabi about Abigail’s claim that Gabi was drugging her. Also, Kate confronts Kayla about setting her up. JJ and Gabi talk about Abigail, and Gabi accuses his sister of lying.

Chad is not allowed information on Abigail because he’s not her husband. Ben asks Chad for a favor. Meanwhile, Stefan fires his security chief. Ben shows up at the DiMera mansion and asks Stefan for a job. Chad goes to Jennifer and convinces her to use her pull to get him permission to visit Abigail at Bayview.

Later, despite the orderly’s warning, Chad visits Abigail… Kate tells Roman she got the goods on Stefan. Will questions Kate about Ted, telling her that Leo is back. Meanwhile, Leo asks Sonny what his decision is. Later, Leo tells Will and Sonny a secret about Kate.

At Bayview, Abigail rips into Chad for betraying her. Later, Abigail summons Stefan. Rafe questions Gabi about the accusations Abigail made against her. Once Rafe leaves, Kate pressures Gabi to tell Chad he’s Charlotte’s father.

Earlier, Leo tells Will and Sonny that Kate was behind the lawsuit. Meanwhile, when Chad comes home, Sonny asks if Chad knew. Hope and Ted concoct a plan to trap Ben into confessing. Meanwhile, Hope returns to Salem, and Rafe wonders where she’s been.

Abigail pretends to be “Gabby”, trying to convince Stefan to get her out of Bayview. Sonny gets Chad to admit he knew about Kate’s using Leo to bring down Sonny and Titan Industries. Gabi fears Will’s overheard what she did to Abigail, but he confronts Kate for being behind the lawsuit against Sonny.

Also, Gabi sneaks into Kayla’s office to get the original DNA test results for Charlotte and runs into Kayla on her way out. Ted tries to get Ben to confess to starting the fire, so he can record him. Meanwhile, Ciara admits to Kayla she’s got feelings for Ben. Rafe questions Hope about her trip to Smith Island.

Chad comes upon Gabi with Charlotte’s paternity results. Sonny lets Kate have it for ruining his life, and she tries to make amends, but it’s no use. Will lays into his grandmother as well. Leo arrives and Kate is stunned to see him, and he explains his terms again. Either Sonny marries him or he and Will go to jail.

Hope feels guilty about keeping her involvement with Ted Laurent from Rafe, but Rafe is on to her. Rafe confides in Eli, who wonders if Hope is seeing another guy. Stefan grapples with releasing Abigail from Bayview and gets a bit of unexpected perspective from Ben and the imaginary “Gabby”.

Rafe worries when he can’t find Hope. He confides in Julie. Meanwhile, Ted and Hope wait for Ben to arrive for their meeting. Ben calls to postpone. Ciara learns that Claire talked Tripp into staying at the loft. Later, Ben and Ciara’s date hits a snag.

John and Marlena have dinner with Claire and Brady. Marlena advises Claire to be careful with Tripp. After the kids leave, John closes the pub and has a romantic evening with Marlena. At the same time, Brady talks to Chloe, who’s looking forward to Lucas’s return from Europe.

Sarah appeals to Maggie to let Eric raise Holly. Meanwhile, Eric asks Marlena for advice on how he should tell Holly that her mother is dead. Afterwards, Brady tries to make amends with Eric by proposing a memorial service for Nicole. Chloe’s thrilled when Lucas returns from his Thanksgiving visit with Allie.

When Lani shows up at Eli’s room to return Sheila’s pie plate, Sheila opens the door in a towel. Eli finds Lani and explains. Marlena and John have plans to go Christmas shopping, but when they see Abe lonely without Valerie, they spend time with him.

Stefan gets Abigail released from Bayview, believing she’s “Gabby”. Jennifer is furious with Stefan. After a brief confrontation, Stefan and Abigail take the baby home. Gabi tells Kate she has the original paternity results.

Chad stops by, and he and Kate commiserate over Will and Sonny’s anger about their knowledge of Leo’s fraudulent lawsuit. Chad tells Jennifer his visit with Abigail didn’t go well. They’re interrupted by Rafe, who’s looking for Hope. Lani admits to Eli she wants to give them a shot at a relationship.

Rafe decks Ted and accuses Hope of cheating on him. Meanwhile, Ben fills Stefan in on the trap that Hope and Ted set for him. Julie confronts Ciara about seeing Ben, but Ciara can’t deny her feelings for him. Julie gets an update from Jennifer about Abigail’s relapse.

Abigail tries to convince Gabi that “Gabby” is now really back, but Gabi doesn’t buy it. Chad then comes over to confront Stefan about reneging on their deal which confirms Abigail’s feelings of isolation.

Julie remembers the phone call she made fifty years ago to her grandparents that propelled her return to Salem. Lucas says goodbye to Will and Kate. Eli and Lani tell his family they’re dating. All, including JJ, are supportive. JJ tells Doug he’s in a much better place than he was last year.

Julie lifts Chloe’s spirits. Later, Kate and Chloe unexpectedly bond. Sonny and Will make a last-ditch effort to rebuff Leo’s blackmail attempt.

Leo solicits Abe’s help in marrying him and Sonny. Sheila takes the gig. Meanwhile, Sonny comes clean to Adrienne and Justin about Leo’s blackmail, as Will does the same with Marlena. Later, the wedding begins and someone objects. Earlier, Abe and Sheila argue about the mess she’s made with his papers.

Eric thanks Chloe for her kindness over Nicole’s death and offering to help with Holly. After Eric leaves, and Justin arrives with a letter for Chloe. Later, Brady stops by and Chloe shares what she just learned from the letter. Earlier, Sarah tries to convince Brady to help Eric with Maggie.
