OECD Internship Program Application

Applications are invited from suitable and qualified candidates to apply for OECD Internship Program.

The Internship program is open on an ongoing basis. Students enrolled in a fully accredited degree program (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) during their internship can apply online.

Selected interns are on-boarded remotely and in hybrid form until further notice.

Who can apply for OECD internship?

You can submit your application anytime via our online application platform through the “Apply” link below.

The following students are eligible to partake in the OECD Internship Application;

  • Students who are enrolled in a full-time degree programme for the duration of the internship in a field or discipline related to the work of the OECD;
  • Are available for a minimum internship duration of one month;
  • Have an excellent command of one of the two official languages of the OECD (English and French) and working knowledge of, or willingness to learn the other. Knowledge of other languages used at the OECD would be an advantage;
  • Possess solid quantitative and IT skills;
  • Demonstrate excellent drafting and communication skills;
  • Are capable of working in a multicultural and international team environment.

OECD Internship Selection Process

The selection process consists of four main stages:

Stage 1.

Your online application and cover letter (addressed to the Internship Office);

Stage 2.

Pre-screening: all applications are screened by the Internship Office and suitable candidates are placed on a shortlist made available to OECD Directorates;

Stage 3.

Interview or Written Test: hiring teams may invite candidates to complete a telephone interview or a written test;

Stage 4.

An offer letter: This involves receiving an email with your internship offer letter from OECD Human Resources.

Notes;

Due to the high volume of applications received, the OECD Internship Office is not in a position to provide individual feedback. Therefore, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the directorates for an interview.

If you are not contacted by Directorate hiring teams within three months following your application’s submission, you can assume your application has not been retained on this occasion, and you can apply again in March and September.

Please remember that you will still need to be enrolled as a student during the internship period.

Before applying, please ensure all required fields are entered correctly. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. At least one entry must be saved under the sections ‘Experience’ as well as ‘Education

Benefits of OECD Internship

The Internship covers the following;

  1. Monthly Financial Assistance of 1000 Euros will be given to every selected intern.
  2. The OECD staff will assist the interns with visa processing.
  3. An opportunity to stay for six months at the OECD.
  4. The internship may be renewable for 12 months, depending on the performance of the intern

OECD Internship Duration

The duration of the internship is a period between one and six months (renewable for another six months up to a total of twelve months) on a full-time basis (40 hours per week)

There is NO Last date to apply for OECD Internship Program in France for International Applicants. Candidates can apply throughout the Year.
