How to Change UJ Student login Existing Pin
To change your existing pin, do this:
- Login to your student portal
- Enter your Student Number and existing Pin.
- Select “Change Pin”.
- Enter a New Pin by following the rules below for creating a pin:
1. Pin length must ONLY be 5 numbers long (e.g. 24683) and must not start or end in a zero, 2. Must not contain any alphabetical characters (e.g. Aa369) 3. No spaces allowed in the pin (e.g. 36 302), 4. No adjacent repeating numbers (e.g. 11234) or simple sequences (e.g. 23456) If you have problems accessing your account then contact the Call Centre.
How do I access my “UJ” email account?
New students will receive a “my UJ” email account once they have registered. Students who were registered since 2012 will have a “myUniversity of Johannesburg -UJ” email account, which will never expire.
If you still cannot log into your email account, then contact the Call Centre.
University of Johannesburg -UJ Application Fees
You must pay a R100 non-refundable application fee before your application form can be processed. You must attach a copy of the proof of payment to your application form. Keep the original proof of payment in a safe place.
Late Application Fee
A non-refundable late application fee of R150 is applicable to applications submitted after the official closing date. Late applications are only accepted if late applications have been officially announced by the institution on its website.
