About Valley University of Science and Technology -VUST
Valley University of Science and Technology (VUST) is a private University licensed by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), under Reg no. UI.PL.028. It is not affiliated to any other institution. The university is wholly owned by an entity known as Mukaira Foundation Limited (MFL). The Mukaira Foundation wanted to bridge the gap by supporting Government in promotion of sciences by starting science based University.

- 28th July, 2022 – 31st Senate meeting from the University Board Room.
- 04th August, 2022 – Supplementary and special exams will be conducted.
- Aug Intake for regular students and orientation program (Semester starts 04th Aug – 10th Aug, 2022)
- Reporting of In- service students for August intake (14th August, 2022) at University administration block.
- Guild election process for VUST GRC on 05th September, 2022.

Valley University of Science and Technology -VUST Admission Requirements
Direct Entry: A candidate must hold at least two principal passes at Advanced level of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (U.A.C.E) or its equivalent at the same sitting. All candidates must have passed Either Economics or mathematics, Entrepreneurship as Essential Subjects at Advanced Level of UACE.
Diploma Holder: A candidate must have obtained a Relevant Diploma from a recognized Institution of higher learning
Mature Age: Candidates who do not have any of the above qualifications will be required to take Special Mature age Entrance University examinations in aptitude and specialized knowledge.
