- Must have an average of 65% and above in their latest examinations.
- Must register for full-time undergraduate studies.
- Must meet the entry requirements in the fields of science, commerce, engineering, technology, and mathematics at a registered public university.
- Must participate in a formal process of assessment including but not limited to an interview and psychometric evaluation.
- Financial need is also considered.
To qualify for a Postgraduate Bursary, the applicant must pass the minimum selection criteria indicated above. Also, every applicant:
- Must register for full-time postgraduate studies.
- Must meet the entry requirements in the fields of science, commerce, engineering, technology, and mathematics at a registered public university.
