Currently we are searching for a Warehouse supervisor for Durban, South Africa.
Responsibilities of this Post:
- Devise a daily cycle count plan and ensure the completion of all warehouse locations on a monthly basis.
- Ensure the security of all stock within the warehouse.
- Supervise all key warehouse operations and ensure optimal efficiencies are achieved.
- Inventory movements and updates.
- Improve and maintain credit department processes achieving a daily completion target of returned goods.
- Supervise all daily activities of all general warehouse staff.
- Supervise all daily activities of all receiving staff.
- Supervise all daily activities of all dispatch staff.
- Ensure company proof of delivery documents are controlled and returned within the required period.
- Ensure all customers orders are dispatched on time and in full as outlined by branch requirements.
- Label all new products and create space within warehouse locations.
- Monitor progress of inbound shipments (regular shipments and returns).
- Respond to inter departmental queries and solve problems as and when necessary.
Requirements of this Post:
- Grade 12.
- A qualification in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.
- Three years’ work experience as Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
- Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Dynamic, hard-working, pleasant personality, self-disciplined & self-motivated.
