France Excellence Europa scholarship 2024.
The France Excellence Europa Scholarship was developed by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The scholarship program allows students from 26 European Union countries to obtain scholarships to study at the master’s level at a French institution of higher education.
The call for applications is open until March 29, 2024.
Who can apply for the France Excellence Europa scholarship?
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be a national of one of the following 26 European Union member states: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.
- applicant must be between 18 and 26 years old at the time of the beginning of your stay in France
- Be admitted to a French higher education institution in Master’s 1 or Master’s 2 for the 2024–25 academic year: Culture & Heritage, Education
- The applicant must not be the recipient of an Erasmus+, AUF, or other French ministry scholarship.
How to Apply for the France Excellence Europa Scholarship
To complete the application form (PDF), save it on your computer (right-click on the link, save the link as…), then open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader and provide the following credentials:
- CV (in French or English)
- Cover letter (in French or English)
- A copy of the most recent higher education diploma obtained or a copy of the secondary school diploma if the applicant is in the process of higher education. The higher education diploma must be sent as soon as it is obtained. (translated in French or in English)
- Copies of transcripts from the last two years of higher education (translated in French or in English)
- Copy of an identity document (passport, ID card)
- Letter of admission to a Master’s 1 or Master’s 2 program at a French institute of higher education for the year 2024–25

The deadline for submitting applications is March 29, 2023.

Note: The “France Excellence Europa” scholarship does not cover course fees or the cost of international or national transportation.
France Excellence Europa Scholarship Important Dates
- Pre-selection of candidates by French embassies: March 30–April 12, 2024
- Candidate selection committees: April 15–April 26, 2024
- Notification of results (subject to admission) to the main list and to the complementary list : starting from April 29, 2024
- Completion of the final list: July 2024
